Wellhub, recognized as Brazil's top corporate well-being platform, has initiated a campaign that reinterprets the act of breaking a tennis racket as a visible sign of the mental health challenges athletes endure. The campaign, developed in partnership with creative agencies Black Madre and Euphoria Creative, was launched in February during the Rio Open, a prominent tennis tournament. The effort includes a series of print advertisements that reveal the emotional and psychological factors—such as pressure, exhaustion, and fear of failure—that often lead athletes to break their rackets in moments of stress. Rather than viewing these outbursts solely as negative behavior, the campaign encourages audiences to see them as opportunities to discuss mental health openly. By transforming broken rackets into symbols of resilience and vulnerability, Wellhub aims to destigmatize mental health struggles in sports and promote broader conversations about psychological well-being. The campaign reflects a growing trend in sports and corporate environments to address mental health proactively, recognizing its impact on performance and overall quality of life.
