Russia Launches Largest Drone Attack Since Start of Invasion, Says Ukraine Air Force

According to the Ukrainian air force, Russian military forces have launched a total of 472 drones over Ukraine, which is reported to be the highest number since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. Yuriy Ignat, who serves as the head of communications for the Ukrainian air force, provided this information. In addition to the drone attacks, Russian forces also launched seven missiles during the same period. The Ukrainian air force states that these attacks led to the deaths of at least 12 Ukrainian service members. The use of drones and missiles has been a recurring tactic in the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, with both sides employing various forms of aerial and ground-based weaponry.
