Scientists Capture Sharpest-Ever Black Hole Images from Earth

Researchers utilizing the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT), a global network of radio telescopes, have produced the sharpest images ever captured of a black hole from Earth. The black hole observed is situated at the center of the galaxy Messier 87 (M87), approximately 55 million light-years from Earth. It possesses a mass about 6.5 billion times greater than that of the Sun.
